The Company

Do you encourage the client to attend the inspection?

We always encourage buyers to attend the inspection. Buyers that attend have a better understanding of the property as viewed by the inspector and are better able to read and interpret the final report. The buyer’s attendance also helps them understand the scope of a home inspection as well as the limitations.

Do you have professional Liability insurance?

Yes, we do carry Errors & Omissions insurance.

Are you involved with or associated with any other business?

We are not involved in any other business. In accordance with the CREIA® Standards of Practice, we do not participate in any referral or construction related activities. It represents a conflict of interest.

How long have you been in the business as a home inspection company?

We have been performing Residential and Commercial Inspections since 2003.

How soon can you typically schedule an inspection?

An inspection can usually be scheduled within two or three days.

How long will the inspection take?

A typical home inspection of a 2400 square foot house will take roughly 2.5 hours. Infrared inspections range depending on areas to be inspected.

The Report

Does the report conform to CREIA’s Standards?

Yes, our reports conform to (and exceed) CREIA’s Standards of Practice.

How soon is the report available?

The report is usually available the same day and can be emailed to you and your agent if requested. No report takes more than 24 hours.

Do you include pictures in your report?

Yes, we include pictures in the report which makes the report much more comprehensive.

Is the report hand written or computer based?

The report is computer generated. There are no sloppy hand-written checklists!

Will you prepare a written report?

Yes, we prepare an extensive written report that generally runs 15-20 pages. Our reports are the best in the business! Detailed, easy to read and have attached supporting photos. Included is a Report Summary which will let you quickly review the recommended improvements to the home. The report is narrative in nature so that you can read, in plain English, the results of the home inspection.
